20 Billion Transactions Reached on Hedera Network: Is Bullish Trend in Sight for HBAR?

Published:

Hedera (HBAR) has hit a major milestone – the mainnet transaction count has surpassed 20 billion. This is a significant achievement, especially considering the wider decline in crypto market activity recently. The network reached this milestone in just 100 days, compared to the 1,738 days it took to reach 10 billion.

In terms of other key metrics, the network is currently processing over 134 million transactions per day, while total mainnet accounts have grown to more than 3.5 million. This is thanks in part to recent partnerships with Hyundai and Kia and the support for Hedera-based micro-payments platform Dropp Inc by the Federal Reserve’s payments network FedNow.

The price of HBAR was hovering around $0.049 at the time of writing. While there was a slight uptick today, sentiment is still bearish and further global adoption is needed to reach higher targets. If the market continues to decline, sellers may aim for lows of $0.040.

Overall, Hedera’s 20 billion mainnet transaction milestone is a sign of the platform’s success and potential for further growth.
