Binance has added the 47th project to its Launchpool, the crypto gaming platform Portal (PORTAL). This new addition was announced on Wednesday, and users can now farm PORTAL by staking BNB and FDUSD. The farming program will run for seven days, after which Binance will list PORTAL for spot trading.
According to the announcement, farming for PORTAL will begin on February 22 at 00:00 UTC, followed by trading support on February 29 at 10:00 UTC. Binance plans to list five spot trading pairs for PORTAL, including PORTAL/BTC, PORTAL/USDT, PORTAL/BNB, PORTAL/FDUSD, and PORTAL/TRY.
In preparation for the launch, Portal has held a presale for its native token in 2023. Binance will also apply the Seed Tag to PORTAL, which serves as a warning to users about the potential volatility of the new token.
Binance introduced the Binance Launchpool platform in September 2020, and it has since added several projects such as Sui, Mantle, Memecoin, and Pendle. This move aims to support and promote emerging projects in the crypto space.
