We are excited to finally announce that Devcon 6 will be held in the first half of Q4 2022 in Bogotá, Colombia. This event is highly anticipated and special to many, and we are thrilled to be able to bring it to you soon.
Meanwhile, the Road To Devcon continues with a new project we’ve been involved in recently.
Meet something new
devconnect is an independent week-long event dedicated to Ethereum, taking place in Amsterdam. We want to bring together the best of the Ethereum world and provide an environment for deep conversations and learning opportunities. Ethereum experts and fanatics will be able to get together in smaller groups to share their knowledge and develop their skills.
The Ethereum Foundation supports the event by helping to coordinate and providing production assistance. As with Devcon, there will be minimal overlap between domains to foster better coordination and make sure everyone is moving in the same direction.
We want Devconnect to be productive and practical. Therefore, we invite only relevant experts or highly-interested people to participate in the discussions and workshops. In addition, we will also offer a coworking space to give everyone a chance to meet and work together between sessions.
What can we accomplish with a week-long build?
The world is facing new challenges and opportunities, and Ethereum is ready to rise to the occasion. To achieve this, the Ethereum Foundation has decided to try something new this year. We are excited to see how the Devconnect experience differs from larger events like Devcon and will strive to make it even more productive and impactful.
