BitGet, a crypto derivatives trading platform, recently announced a one-year partnership with actor and comedian Adam Devine as part of their rebranding strategy. In an ad released Friday morning, Devine encouraged viewers to “read the reviews before buying anything,” highlighting the importance of being aware of potential pitfalls. The campaign, known as #SetForChange, aims to make crypto and Web3 more accessible to younger generations.
Gracy Chen, managing director of BitGet said in a press release that celebrities like Devine will be a quintessential part of pushing society towards a more “crypto-friendly future.” BitGet has been rolling out “smart tools” to expand Web3 capabilities and explore Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the industry.
Devine is the latest celebrity to partner with a crypto-related project. In the past, Matt Damon featured in an ad for Crypto.com, comparing crypto investors to arctic explorers, the Wright brothers, and astronauts. Damon later revealed that he took the job in an attempt to raise money for his clean water charity.
In March, BitGet became the first centralized exchange to support a decentralized data warehouse, Time and Space, in an effort to bring more financial transparency to the industry. In July, they launched “dual-coin” crypto loans, allowing borrowers to stake their own coins to back up loans denominated in another currency. Then, two weeks ago, the platform kicked off its rebranding strategy with a new logo, visual elements, and tagline “Trade smarter.”
