The increasing acceptance of Bitcoin in various US states has been the subject of a recent episode of the Simply Bitcoin YouTube channel. During the session, they discussed some of the latest developments regarding states in the US trying to advance their involvement in the crypto world. Leading this trend is Texas, also known as “Bitcoin Country.” The state has already released an 84-page document outlining its full support. Bitcoin.

The document entitled “The Working Group on Blockchain Matters” contained suggestions for Texas including creating legislation for cross-custody protection, offering tax incentives, and other benefits. Furthermore, it also included Bitcoin education in the curriculum.

Former Texas energy grid chief Brad Jones has been vocal about his admiration for Bitcoin miners in the state. According to him, it solved the problem of power balance and absorbed a lot of the excess energy.

Several Bitcoin miners have relocated to Texas from China in 2022.
