The cryptocurrency market experienced a downturn today, with top coins like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) seeing a drop in value. Other popular altcoins, including Solana (SOL), XRP, and Cardano (ADA), also saw a decrease in price.

Despite the pullback, Bitcoin remained above the $68,000 mark, with a price of $68,508.25 at the time of writing. Its trading volume also increased by 43.47% to $36.63 billion in the last 24 hours, and its market cap stood at $1.34 trillion.
ETH, on the other hand, dropped 2.54% to $3,854.68, with a market valuation of $462.93 billion. Its trading volume also saw a significant increase of 37.73%, reaching $17.60 billion. However, Binance Coin (BNB) defied the bearish trend and saw a price surge of 5.61%, reaching $521.25. Its 24-hour trading volume also spiked by 127.41% to $5.71 billion.
The Solana price also saw a decrease of 4.05%, settling at $141.35. However, its trading volume increased by 35.39% to $3.95 billion. XRP, on the other hand, saw a dip of 2.52%, reaching $0.61, but its trading volume increased by 11.98% to $1.76 billion.
Meanwhile, Cardano saw a drop in price of 2.99%, with a trading volume of $723.09 million. As the top crypto prices saw a dip, popular meme coins also followed suit. Dogecoin (DOGE) saw a decrease of 5.84%, while its rival, Shiba Inu (SHIB), plummeted by 7.35% and traded at $0.00003242.

One of the popular meme coins, Pepe Coin (PEPE), saw a significant decrease in price today. Its price dropped by 8.89% to $0.000008381, with a market valuation of $3.53 billion. Its 24-hour trading volume also decreased by 20.23% to $1.26 billion.
Pyth Network Rallies 50%
On the other hand, Pyth Network (PYTH) recorded an impressive surge of 20% and ranked as one of the top crypto gainers. Its price soared by 19.78% to $0.8291, and its trading volume skyrocketed by 317.39% to $513.31 million. The PYTH Network also reached a new all-time high of $0.8934 during the recent rally.
