The cryptocurrency market saw a bullish trend today with top coins like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) leading the way. Bitcoin maintained its position above $71,000 after reaching a peak of over $72,000. In addition, Ethereum crossed the $4,000 mark, while other altcoins such as Solana (SOL), XRP, and Cardano (ADA) also saw significant gains.

Bitcoin’s price came close to reaching $72,000 once again, currently up by 4.70% at $71,808.47. The trading volume for Bitcoin also increased by 76.91% to $64.61 billion in the past 24 hours. The cryptocurrency currently has a market cap of $1.41 trillion.

In the altcoin market, Ethereum saw a 4.32% increase in price, reaching $4,035.90 with a market valuation of $484.70 billion. Its trading volume also surged by 59.33% to $28.40 billion. Binance Coin (BNB) also saw a 2.54% increase, reaching $537.96, but its trading volume dropped by 27.32% to $3.71 billion.

The Solana price broke past the $150 level, currently up by 8.44% at $153.79. Its trading volume also saw a significant increase of 41.66% to $5.62 billion. XRP also showed a bullish run, approaching the $0.70 mark with a 14.06% surge to $0.6957. Its trading volume skyrocketed by 310.38% to $7.23 billion.

Cardano also saw a 7.23% increase, currently trading at $0.7651. Its trading volume increased by 82.70% to $1.32 billion. Along with the top cryptocurrencies, meme coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu also followed the bullish trend, with Dogecoin up by 3.92% at $0.1747 and Shiba Inu up by 2.44% at $0.00003321.

Pepe Coin Remains Stable

Despite the overall bullish trend, Pepe Coin (PEPE), a popular meme coin, did not see a significant change in value. At press time, its price was down by 0.03% at $0.000008424 with a market valuation of $3.54 billion. Its 24-hour trading volume, however, increased by 16.77% to $1.46 billion.

Toncoin Surges by 32%

In contrast, Toncoin (TON), the cryptocurrency launched by Telegram, saw an impressive surge of 32% and ranked as the top gainer of the day. Its price reached $3.69, while its trading volume skyrocketed by 304.15% to $272.07 million. Toncoin also recorded new daily highs during the current rally.
