Devcon Prep: Applications Now Open!

Published:

Greetings,

The New Year has just begun, and the cherry blossoms have begun to fall. This also means that devcon is drawing near!

As Announced on the Ethereal stage last month, Devcon is returning to the Asian continent in 2019 and will be held in Osaka, Japan from October 8th to the 11th.

We are excited to share all the details of this year’s event without further delay.

TICKETS

The first wave* of Devcon Tickets will be available for purchase online in mid-July. For those of you who would like to know the exact time and date, please notify us at least 7 working days in advance.

Please Note that speakers, scholarships, student discounts, and builders’ discounts applications will be evaluated on an ongoing basis. We will process as many tickets as possible before the first wave opens for ticketing. However, if you haven’t received notification prior to ticketing opening, we recommend buying a ticket to guarantee your attendance. If you are later approved to receive a free or reduced ticket, you will get the difference back.

LOCATION

The Ethereum Foundation is proud to be hosting their event at the ATC Hall in Osaka. This beautiful venue is modern and elegant. It has indoor and outdoor spaces, a train stop that gives you quick access to downtown, views of the docks (for those who are cruising between us), and offers food and shopping.

Devcon is the only event run by the Ethereum Foundation and our team is proud to be a part of such an incredible and growing global community every year. We hope that this year will be even better than the last!

More details will be released soon. Please mark your calendars for October 8th-11th, 2019!

We look forward to seeing you in Osaka!

— Devcon Team

*What is a wave? To ensure tickets are distributed fairly, we release batches of general admission tickets at regular intervals. We call these waves.
