What’s in Store for Devcon?
As We We are now in the New Year, the Devcon Team wanted to give an update on the upcoming plans. Devcon This year promises to be filled with ambitious objectives. Drawing on our successes and lessons from the past, we will share more details on what is to come.
For The People who are unfamiliar with the Ethereum family, Devcon is the annual gathering of the Ethereum Foundation. This small group first came together one year before the network launched in Berlin (ÐΞVcon-0). For some, it’s a reunion of sorts, while for others, it’s a great place to discuss the latest and greatest advancements in the space.
It’s been evident over the years that Devcon offers many ways for individuals to give back to their community. As we plan for Devcon 6, we are determined to create goals that are achievable and make sure that they are met. Here are some of the objectives that we are targeting:
1. Collaboration and Sharing of Knowledge
Devcon is a great place to come together and work on solutions. It is essential that we provide a space to meet, talk, and get to work on the whiteboard.
2. Education and Communication of Ideas
Devcon is an opportunity to learn and share knowledge! Attendees travel from all over the world to learn about the latest developments in the Ethereum space and share their experiences with the world online and on-site.
3. Utilizing the Largest Platform to Transmit a Message
Devcon is an important chance to communicate to the world about Ethereum. As the largest industry conference, the largest technology space, and the most influential companies all pay attention to it. Let’s show them what we have been working on!
4. Ethereum Technology Built on a Cellular Network “Dogfooding”
The Devcon community organizes the conference. Whenever possible, it is important to make use of tools created by the community. We are dedicated to educating and supporting our community. Ethereum-based projects can be tested out in person at Devcon.
5. Growing the Ethereum Ecosystem
Devcon is a great way to meet people from other communities and groups. Introducing the blockchain industry to newcomers is essential. In the past few years, we have partnered with UNICEF and the Internet Archive, and welcomed the Zero-Knowledge Group to the fold. For those who don’t speak the language of Ethereum, our ecosystem is there to help. Devcon is a place to feel loved and inspired by our community at the end of each week.

Specifically, Devcon’s schedule (dc⟠vi) has identified six areas that will enhance the experience for attendees.
Specifically, we are looking for a venue where:
- Modern WiFi Infrastructure
- Improved Crowd Flow, Meeting Spaces, and Stages
- In-house Catering Available for Guests with All Dietary Requirements and Preferences
