Eth2 genesis is coming – Get prepared!

This week the Deposit contract reached the minimum threshold of 16384 32-ETH validator deposits, marking the start of genesis. The exact time of Genesis will be 1606824023 on December 1, 2020, 12:00:23 UTC

If you have made Genesis deposits, you should be an active participant in this week’s genesis program.

Start your node🖥

It’s time to install your node. Sync your eth1 client (start now! This may take some time) and configure your preferred Eth2 client and load your validators in.

Take a look at our launch pad Eth2 Staker Checklist for Minimum requirements. You must complete the following steps before you can begin genesis.

Monitor Progress through genesis👀

All eth2 clients have now released their mainnet version 1.0. Keep an eye on genesis for any further developments. It’s possible that your eth2 clients may crash 24 hours before genesis. This is something you should be aware of.

Join Discord with your client and sign up if you have a mailing address

In addition to the client-specific resources, I suggest joining the ethstaker discord. It’s an excellent place to ask questions or share information. I hope you’ll be very active during genesis. If there is something you need to know, it will likely be there.
