Joining Future development networks and interoperability specifications

The Merge Interop Specifications was released on Friday. This “meta-specification” provides stable targets for engineers to use for the initial wave of testing and development.

During recent months, there has been a lot of specification activity. Merge Specifications are almost complete and core logic is stable. This is the next step. Engineers will be developing the merge logic, and testing their software with other teams within short-lived development groups. The spec will be reviewed as it is today. We will provide feedback to the spec in order to improve and/or fix any issues that may arise.

At The top of the list: Validate and refine the Merge Engine API Prototype and specify different synchronization versions below the Merge paradigm.

The Move from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake has been years in the making, and we are just as eager to see it in action as you. There is always something to do in October 🏺🚀
