ETHStaker/clr.fund Ethereum CLR Staking
ETHStaker Y clr.fund have just launched a CLR Funding Round to help power critical Ethereum projects in the staking ecosystem. Projects that promise to make Ethereum more accessible, secure, and decentralized are eligible for the funding, as well as those that make staking more enjoyable.
This round of funding is utilizing a method of allocation called Quadratic Funding (QF), allowing for large sums of funds (over 350k!) to be given to the proper projects. QF ensures that funds are allocated not just based on money, but also on the number of people that back each project. This means that even the smallest participations of DAI can make a huge impact!
Furthermore, this funding round is on top of the Referee initiative, which is working towards making Ethereum Layer 2 more efficient by lowering transaction fees. Additionally, this round is also funding MACI, a technology which is critical to prevent collusion, vote buying, and other valuable forms of coordination.
The window for contributions to the Ethereum Staking CLR is closing soon (May 23). Don’t wait any longer! Get involved and make an impact today. Every little DAI counts.
Data Availability Sampling RFP
Data Availability Sampling (DAS) is essential for the Ethereum network to reach its scalable endgame. Proposals such as EIP 4844 are in place to make DAS more efficient, and further research and refinement must be done to realize its full potential.
The Ethereum Foundation has released an RFP with $1.5 million allocated to it, in order to bring more teams and individuals into the world of DAS. There is already a lot of activity surrounding this field, including formal analysis, efficient designs, attack mitigation, and network load testing. If you are interested but not familiar with DAS, please visit the RFP Details and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions to rfp@ethereum.org.
Proposals must be submitted by July 1, 2022. Join us in building the future of Ethereum 🚀
