Web3 gaming firm Gala Games and cryptocurrency exchange Huobi Global have joined forces in a strategic partnership to drive development and investment in leading gaming projects.
Huobi to list Gala Games tokens
The agreement will see Huobi Global integrate Gala Games’ highly scalable layer 1 blockchain and list Gala Games ecosystem tokens. The two platforms are also set to co-invest in top game projects and aid other growth efforts.

Jason Brink, President of Blockchain at Gala Games said the partnership will help the company reach its mass adoption goals.
“Integrating our layer 1 blockchain into major exchanges like Huobi is essential to achieving the level of adoption we are aiming for. This collaboration gives tomorrow’s developers the power to create a more stable and secure web3 future,” he commented in a press release released on Friday.
Huobi was founded in 2013 and is one of the most significant digital assets platforms in terms of daily trading volume.
As per data from CoinMarketCap, Huobi is the 17th largest spot exchange and the 10th largest derivatives exchange as of 31 March 2023. The exchange’s native token Huobi Token traded around $3.66 at the time of writing. The all-time high for HT was $39.66 achieved on 12 May, 2021.
