Bitcoin (BTC), the oldest and most valued cryptocurrency in the world, managed to stay above the $43,000 mark over the weekend. Other top coins, such as Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC), saw minor gains and losses across the board. The Ronin (RON) token was the biggest gainer, with a 24-hour jump of over 13%. On the other hand, MANTA was the biggest loser, with a 24-hour dip of nearly 8%.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap was at $1.63 trillion, with a 24-hour gain of 0.82%.

Bitcoin (BTC) Price Today:

According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin price stood at $42,651.90, with a 24-hour dip of 0.81%. On Indian exchange WazirX, BTC price was at Rs 37.64 lakh.

Ethereum (ETH) Price Today:

ETH price stood at $2,292.04, showing a 24-hour dip of 0.39% at the time of writing. On WazirX, Ethereum price in India was at Rs 2.04 lakh.

Dogecoin (DOGE) Price Today:

DOGE registered a 24-hour dip of 0.98%, currently priced at $0.07814 according to CoinMarketCap. On WazirX, Dogecoin price in India was at Rs 6.95.

Litecoin (LTC) Price Today:

Litecoin saw a 24-hour dip of 1.56%, trading at $67.10 at the time of writing. LTC price in India stood at Rs 5,883.83.

Ripple (XRP) Price Today:

XRP price stood at $0.5056, with a 24-hour loss of 2.26%. On WazirX, Ripple price in India was at Rs 44.99.

Solana (SOL) Price Today:

Solana price stood at $96.10, showing a 24-hour dip of 2.05%. On WazirX, SOL price in India was at Rs 8,494.

Mudrex co-founder and CEO Edul Patel told ABP Live that Bitcoin maintained its position at the $42,000 level over the weekend, influenced by a hawkish stance from the Federal Reserve and Bitcoin outflows from Grayscale. He also noted that Ethereum is currently trading at $2,200, showing a bullish trend.

Parth Chaturvedi, Investments Lead at CoinSwitch Ventures, stated that the crypto market had a quiet weekend with Bitcoin hovering around $43,000 and Ethereum consolidating near $2.3k. He added that investor sentiment remains bullish, with the Crypto Fear & Greed Index scoring 60/100.

Rajagopal Menon, Vice President at WazirX, mentioned that Bitcoin’s investor sentiment is mixed, with various indicators suggesting a neutral outlook. He also noted that the stablecoin FirstDigitalUSD has entered the top 5 by volume, and Chainlink has seen a 12% surge in the last seven days.

He also mentioned various factors that may affect market sentiment, such as the bankruptcy proceedings of Genesis and the US Department of Justice’s crackdown on illegal cryptocurrency mining. He concluded by stating that Bitcoin’s technical outlook shows critical resistance and support levels, with indicators pointing to a neutral market sentiment but a potential bearish trend below $42,885.
