OKX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, today announced that trading volumes for futures spreads on its website have reached a monthly record of US$1.54 billion in September 2023. This achievement represents 62% of institutional market share for futures spreads for the month.
The Liquid Marketplace, which includes futures spreads, options and futures spreads, was launched in July 2023. Since then, OKX’s cumulative futures spreads volumes have led the market from August 28th to October 11th 2023.
OKX’s volumes on futures spreads have also excelled during ‘high-water mark’ days. The notional volume of OKX futures spreadings has exceeded 100 million USDT on four occasions during the date range (September 12th, September 19th, September 28th and October 10th 2023).
These trading volume milestones solidify OKX’s Liquid Marketplace as the venue of choice for institutional traders seeking to maximize liquidity on a variety of trades including futures contracts, spot OTC and options.
