Worldcoin (WLD) has seen its price rise by 10% in the past 24 hours, reaching highs of $3.96. According to CoinGecko data, the WLD price at the time of writing was about 18% from the all-time high of $4.69 reached on December 17.
The recent price increase follows the launch of World ID 2.0, which introduced Apps and allowed for integrations with Reddit, Shopify, and Telegram for online accounts verification. Furthermore, Worldcoin’s wallet World App has surpassed 5 million users, and over 30 million transactions have been made.
On December 27, Worldcoin announced that its World ID verification was now available for the public in Singapore. Additionally, in Chile, more than 200,000 users have signed up for World ID.
Despite facing regulatory issues in various jurisdictions such as Brazil, Kenya, Germany, and France, Worldcoin’s growth metrics remain positive. The project has 350,000 active daily users and over 1 million weekly active users.
